IATSE Local 22 | How to Join

We are the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories, and Canada, AFL-CIO, CLC. Local 22 represents the stagehands, riggers, and AV technicians of the Washington, DC greater metropolitan area.

Apply to work with us

To apply to work in Local 22’s referral system: First read our Referral Rules. Complete the online referral application and send a resume to referral@iatselocal22.com. Applications will be reviewed monthly. New applicants are invited into our system as the need for workers rises.

Apply for membership

Membership in IATSE Local 22 is open to all stagehands who have lived in the jurisdiction of the Local for at least 18 months. Please note that membership is not initially required to work through the Local 22 Hiring Hall.
