NEW BENEFIT FUNDS PARTICIPANT WEBSITE
The Claims Office has completed implementation of a web portal which will allow Plan Participants to view their work history, eligibility, claims, pension history and the Summary Plan Descriptions for the Funds. Information will be updated nightly so you have access to the most current information available. Please follow the registration steps below and then log on to the Participant Portal to review the information available to you.
TO ACCESS THE WEB PORTAL:
- Please use the most recent release of your favorite web browser
- Google Search for: http://portal.bacorporation.com
- To register, select “Participant”
- NOTE: Spouses and dependents over the age of 18 must register separately from Plan participants
TO REGISTER, YOU MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING FOUR DATA ELEMENTS:
- The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
- Your date of birth
- Your home zip code
- Your member ID (as shown on your Medical Identification Card
ONCE THIS INFORMATION IS ENTERED AND VALIDATED AS MATCHING THE
INFORMATION ON FILE WITH THE CLAIMS OFFICE, YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO:
- Create your User ID
- Create a Password
- Enter your email address
When the validation process is completed, you will receive an email containing an activation link.
YOU MUST CLICK ON THE ACTIVATION LINKTO BRING YOUR ACCOUNT LIVE AND TO BE ABLE TO LOG ON.
NOTE: THE ACTIVATION EMAIL IS ONLY VALID FOR 24 HOURS SO PLEASE RESPOND TO IT TIMELY. If you do not respond in 24 hours, simply start the registration process over.
If for some reason you are unable to register, please contact the Claims Office to confirm the four data items referenced above match the Fund’s records.
The member will be able to maintain his or her home address on the portal. In addition, you will be able to select whether you wish to receive future communications from the Fund via email as an alternative to the US Postal Service. This feature is currently under development and will become more robust over time.
