Applications for the 2026 A and B tests are now open!

The A written test will be held at the Local 22 Union Hall on Thursday, September 3, and the B written test will be held on Friday, September 4. New this year, an applicant must score at least an 80% on the written test to be admitted to the practical portion.

The application(s) for the tests must be submitted through the applicant's Game Changer account. More information can be found on the IATSE Local 22 "Testing Information" page.
